Mashiko 400 square bathroom ceiling light.
A modern bathroom ceiling light, it appears to have a polished chrome frame surrounding a white glass diffuser with a small square of chrome in the centre.
Designed to be used with either 4 x standard E27-ES incandescent light bulbs or low energy bulbs if preferred.
The Mashiko range by Astro Lighting includes a selection of bathroom ceiling and wall lights. Most are available in polished chrome with a couple of designs available in a bronze finish.
The light given off by this fitting is mainly in a downward direction. This light fitting is suitable for use in a bathroom within regulated zone 2 or higher. Zone 2 is the area 60cm away from the edge of the bath or shower tray and 60cm radius from the taps on a sink. This light fitting has an IEC protection class of 2, double insulated. This light has an International Protection Rating of IP44. The first digit gives this light protection against contact and ingress of objects >1 mm in size. The second digit shows a protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of splashing water. There is no fitted switch or dimmer within this light fitting. This light fitting is suitable for installation onto a dimmer control circuit.
