The Phottix Geotagger ONE GPS receiver (Global Positioning System Receiver) is connected to the Nikon camera and writes the exact geographical position in the EXIF data when taking photos. This position is saved in longitude and latitude; the altitude reading and the time the shot was taken are also recorded in the image file.
 | The Phottix Geotagger ONE GPS receiver can be pushed into the flash shoe or attached to the carrying strap using a belt holder (included in delivery). You just need to connect the camera to the GPS module and switch the camera on. The receiver searches for satellites - the LED flashes red on the device. When three satellites are found the LED flashes green and the device is ready for action. If there are four or more satellites then the LED stays permanently green - this means the data is even more accurate. A cable release (with a button) is included in delivery which can be connected to the GPS receiver so that you can get blur-free shots when using a tripod. |
