Product Description

Altec Lansing's inMotion iM7 sets a new precident in portable audio for the Apple iPod. The clear, crisp sound from the iM7's highly advanced neodymium drivers, tweeters and built-in subwoofer has been called equal to the Bose SoundDock. But the iM7 boasts more than just superb audio - Altec's innovative new features clearly put the iM7 ahead of the pack... Flexibility - The iM7 is a universally compliant portable speaker solution. The ingenious iPod slot, reminiscent of a tape deck cassette holder, adjusts to the dimensions of any docking iPod, including the 3G, 4G and photo models, or an iPod Mini (with the included bracket). Not to be limited by the iPod, Altec provides an extra input jack on the back of the iM7, allowing you to use the speakers with your laptop or any other audio device. Control - You can control volume, bass, treble and track playback with the iM7's IR remote control, or through one of the greatest hardware interfaces of all time: the iPod itself. iPod Photo Support - Composite and S-Video-out jacks are located on the back of the iM7, allowing iPod Photo users to display slideshows while using the high quality Lansing speakers for audio playback. Portability - running off batteries (eight D-size alkalines) or wall power, the iM7 is highly mobile. A rubber-lined handle recess makes for easy transport. Carrying multiple accessories is not a concern: the remote control can be stowed in its built-in garage, and as always, your iPod remains snuggly secure in the integrated, in-line cradle. Taking the iM7 out of the country? No problem. The unit's modular AC adapter includes three snap-on plug adapters. Don't forget your IM7 Shoulder Bag!
