This is a variable speed magnetic (rather than air resistance) Turbo Trainer, which means the resistance can be adjusted both with a quick release lever attached to the handlebars and by using the gears on your bike, giving fantastic variability in work rate. In comparison to the air fan trainers, these are wonderfully quiet in operation, although the tyre and tread pattern you are using makes a big difference to the noisiness of any trainer. It comes fully preassembled and all you need to do is fit the supplied quick release skewer to the rear wheel. Please note that this trainer doesn't work with bolt through axles as quick release skewers don't work with Bolt through Hubs. The skewers are very presentable Campagnolo look alikes and can be left happily on a bike without disgrace! It folds down to 900 x 250 x 600 in one movement for very easy storage and re-deployment in seconds The trainer has an adjustment facility to allow use of either 26" or 700mm wheels.
